Hello MassiveCraft! We hope you’re having a wonderful day. Here is a changelog of all the Lore changes and updates we’ve had for this week of September 11, 2022.

Aristocratic Spreadsheet

Roleplay Families/Clans have been moved to the following sheet. This includes Blue Bloods, Red Bloods, and Crime Families: Aristocrat Sheet (Public)

Raid, Combat Rule Changes

Minor changes to the Optional CRP Rules and Magivault Raids individually.

Optional CRP Rules

If a character has a net loss of 4 points or more, they’re weakened and can’t use block counters.
This was added with the intention of giving a use for people that want to sap the strength of others, but also to own you little sacrificial empowerment goons.

Magivault Raids

A character can’t switch to proxy fighters in raids. You have to either go as the proxy, or go as yourself.
This was always the case, I am just codifying it. We don’t want “1-Up” abilities in raids because it skews it in their favor.
A character can only receive up to 3 bonus HP in a raid at a time. [12/15] [12/15] [12/15]

We want to keep raids short. Adding 18 hp onto someone directly contradicts that.

Occult Changes

Important changes here for Vampires, Cahal, and Undead.

Bonded & Vowed Vampires and Cahal have been changed to allow both types. This means that Cahal can be in love, and Vampires can be platonic friends. No other mechanical changes.

Cahal have had the missing sections of their page added:
- Paying a Cahal in Regalia,
- Infection
- Exceptions
- Mental changes.

Vampires and Cahal have a new rule added: you cannot become one if you prior have magic/essence/w/e from the opposite plane. This includes Mages, and things like Kathar/Yanar unless they’re the Exist/Void variants. We’ve flip-flopped on this but with the new magic tweaks have decided it’s a bit too weird. So, if you want to be Cahal you need to have Exist magic, and vice versa.

Instant Leap from Afflicted Point Buy and in the Undead kit has had its included attack removed. We want this to just be a “chases you+” ability.
There is also now a cooldown on the re-roll on the married/platonic lifemates Vampires & Cahal as we have added more rolling stuff for structured CRP.

Kathar Changes

The following line has been added to the Dread Rebirth and Dread Rewire specials:

Does not work on Archons.

Government Changes

Government tweaked. Applications are said and done, see new appointed individuals here: https://forums.massivecraft.com/threads/government-positions.102187/

Changes to Notice Boards

Crookback Notice Board replaced with a Notice Center. You can find it directly in front of the Emporium. There are four sign categories: Wanted Ads, Offering Services, General Notices, and Bounties which are maintained by the Crookback Militia.
The Roleplay Gossiper has also been moved directly in front of the Notice Center!
Old Town Notice Board removed as it was a combination of signs from New Town and Crookback.
New Government Information board in Crookback. Approach the signs and you’ll be linked to all available government threads for Crookback Borough.

Using the Notice Center

Pay attention to the categories on the wall and put your notices in the correct one! Notices in the wrong section can freely be written over by other players.
